Important Information for Payment
  • Please mention your Bill No., Mobile No., and Name of registered consumers on revised side of cheque.
  • All cheques should be current dated and payable locally.
  • Administrative charges of Rs. 200/- (Subject to change) shall be levied for each dishonour of cheque/ Instrument.
  • Delayed Payment Charges w.e.f. 01.01.2015 is revised to Rs. 100/-.Additionally interest @ 18% p.a. shall be applicable. Any payment realised beyond the date shall attract the changes.
  • Minimum Charges w.e.f. 01.04.2016 is revised to Rs. 100/-
  • Any dispute in billing should be brought to the notice of MGL within 14 days of payment.
  • Bills dispatched on date as shown in front page. If not received call customer care.
  • We do not accept part payment.
  • Please do not make cash payment other than post office, Suvidhaa outlets and MGL Authorised Collection Agents (only for overdue consumers) & designated bank counters, please ensure that you take receipt for Payments made in cash. Things You Should Know
  • Supply of PNG is subject to terms and conditions and as amended from time to time.
  • Request for shifting gas connection will be as per applicable rules.
  • PNG supply shall be liable to disconnection for non-payment of dues.
  • Consumer is liable to pay shortfall charges as per tariff card/ actual consumption charge whichever is higher.
  • Transfer of connection is subject to providing the necessary documentation and payment.
  • Usage of gas is restricted to domestic use. Violation will attract penalty/ disconnection.
  • Details of terms and condition as agreed may be referred to in the application form.
Safety and Maintenance
  • Ensure appliance valve/ MCV is closed when not using gas.
  • Gas supplied to consumer is mixed with odourants to facilitate detection of gas leak/ escape, if any such odour emanates from any installation/ pipelines, please call customer care for assistance.
  • Switch off the gas when attending to Caller, Phone, etc.
  • Keep kitchen well ventilated
  • Keep windows open and allow AIR circulation inside the kitchen.
  • Electrical installation/ wiring should be at a distance of atleast 1 ft. (300 mm) from the gas pipe and meter.
  • The electric wire should never touch the gas pipe or traverse gas pipes.
  • Don't conceal Gas pipelines in permanent or temporary structures inside your premises.
  • For change of Gas stove rubber tube, please avail the services from MGL for safe and smooth transition.
  • Safety policy of MGL does not permit geyser installation inside the bathroom.
  • Renovation and demolition of premises where MGL Gas is provided shall be undertaken subject to obtaining clearance from MGL.
  • All post installation services are on chargeable basis as per the applicable tariff.

  • Ensure no person is entering your premises without proper identify card for taking meter reading.
Terms and Conditions
  • Provision of Gas supply is subject to the Terms and Conditions contained in the Application Form for PNG connection as amended from time to time.
  • Modification/ alteration to the Terms and Conditions applicable for supply of gas to domestic consumers are updated on the company website from time to time and supply shall be governed by the same.
