MGL has been active
in Mumbai for over 9 years and is responsible for managing
and developing the upstream and downstream interest of
it's promoters in Mumbai. The company has been making
steady progress in establishing its
business interest in the country.
At MGL we believe that

which focuses on equipping people with the personal, technical,
commercial and environmental skills to develop a role
in their community. MGL has an integrated Health, Safety
& Environment (HSS&E) management system for its
downstream business and conducts its business with due
regard for the environment, health and safety of employees,
those involved in its operations, and the public at large.
Recognizing its social
responsibility, MGL is actively involved in several community
development initiatives in the city. MGL has taken varied
initiatives in social development and environmental sectors
especially in areas of strong business presence. MGL's
CSR programmes focus on equipping people with personal
and environmental skills to develop a role in their community.

NGO `s Appointment
for Meter Reading and Bill Distribution
We have appointed Non-Government organization like
Dignity Foundation, Lokseva Charitable Trust, and
Fancy Rehabilitation for carrying activity of Meter
Reading and Bill Distribution in the city of Mumbai
for presently more than 1.65 lac consumers. The
organization (NGO) caters to a good cause of helping
the Senior citizens, Disabled people (Deaf, Dumb,
Partially Handicapped), Widows, and unemployed youth.
These organisation help the needy people providing
employment, support for various other activities
and ration for living.
This is a unique experiment being persuaded by MGL.

Health
and Wealth Checkup
Period

June'2003.
We have recently done the "Health and Wealth"
check up for the Rickshaw and the Taxi drivers who
comes to fill the Natural Gas at various CNG stations.
Health Check up in terms of: the drivers were given
a card where all the information pertaining to his
health were noted for e.g. [Blood Pressure, Bloodgroup,
ECG, address, tel nos. etc.] which is useful during
the emergency whileon work. In Wealth Check up the
Taxis and the Autos CNG kit were checked from safety
point of view and free servicing for the vehicle
and gas kitshighlighting the wealth of the drivers
lies in his vehicles.

Drawing
Competition for Under Privileged Children.
Period

July'2003.
We had organised a drawing competition for the under
privileged children between the ages of 10 and 14
of King George Memorial in association with Akanksha
Foundation. The theme was "My Beautiful Mahanagar'.
The idea was to let kids visualize how mumbai is
and how they wanted it to be. About 50 Children
participated. The drawings ranged from the Gateway
of India, Mahalaxmi Race Course, Sky crapers, Local
trains and many more. Leading Model Yana Gupta was
the guest for this occasion.
